How to set custom symbols and symbols shortcut key in WPS Spreadsheet
When using tables to enter data, if we often need to enter symbols, we can set shortcut keys for commonly used symbols, which can improve our work efficiency. Take this size chart as an example. We need to enter the length unit cm multiple times, so how can we get a quick input?
Click the Home tab, and the Symbol drop-down button, then click More Symbol to pop up a dialog box.
Click the Custom Symbols tab, and then we can see that there are many system-defined symbols, including the cm we need to enter. After clicking cm, click the Shortcut keys edit box at the top right, press Ctrl+0, and click the Specify Shortcut keys button, then the setting is complete.
Back to the chart, we can use the shortcut key Ctrl+0 to enter cm. When we hold down the Ctrl key, we should press the number 0 twice to achieve quick input.
In the dialog box, we can also adjust the position of the custom symbols. Take cm as an example. After clicking the symbol, click Move Up. Then we can see that the symbol moved up in the list on the left. We can move the commonly used symbols to the front for use later.
At the same time, we can also delete the infrequently used custom symbols set by the system. Click the Remove button, and then we can delete them. If you need to restore the original settings, click the Reset Symbol Toolbar button.
In addition, we can make the same setting for the Symbol under the Insert tab.
