How to set custom symbols and symbols shortcut key
In the process of editing documents, we occasionally need to re-enter the same symbols. Take this table as an example. When we make an account for purchased fruits, we need to enter the weight unit kg, so how can we quickly enter it?
In the Insert tab, click the Symbol drop-down button, and then click More Symbolto pop up a dialog box.
In the Custom Symbols tab, we can see many system-defined symbols, including the kg we need to enter. After clicking kg, click the Shortcut keys edit box at the top right, press Ctrl+0, and click Specify Shortcut keys, then the setting is complete.
Back to the table, we can use the shortcut key Ctrl+0 to enter the kg.
In the dialog box, we can also adjust the position of the custom symbols. Take kg as an example. After clicking the symbol, click Move Up. Then we can see that the symbol moved up in the list on the left. We can move the commonly used symbols to the front for use later.
At the same time, we can also delete the infrequently used custom symbols set by the system. Click the Remove button, and then we can delete them. If you need to restore the original settings, click the Reset Symbol Toolbar button.
